how do i make a picture specific deminsions? like 50×50? i need to make an avatar for this one website?

i’ve tried to do it myself, now the picture is so tiny. it wont accept the picture inless it is exactly 50×50. its for deviantart.com if you know anything that might help me. this has really been frustrating.

    The GIMP. It is a free image editor that rivals Photoshop. Or you could use Paint.NET. Download them, then you can resize.

    In the GIMP, click "Image" at the top, then "Scale Image". Put in the desired width and height (50×50).

    I don’t know much about Paint.NET, I have used it before but its been a while. I mentioned that because it is more lightweight and simple, the GIMP is a full-featured editor that I use all the time.
