How do you get people pictures instead of an animated avatar?

I want to change my avatar to a picture of me.

You can take you picture with a digital camera and upload it to your computer and go to profile put black dot into picture of you ( you probaly have to browse to find it if you have your digital camera attached to your computer.) If you take a picture with a disposible camera you would need a scanner to upload it to your computer and do the same as stated above. I hope this information was a help.
