Will the new platform that replaces Yahoo! 360 feature animated avatars?

About the only reason I use 360 is the fun of creating new animated avatars. (Well, I like a lot of the people, too.) If they lose those, Yahoo! will probably lose me.

Thanks. You don’t know how beautiful you are.

Ugh all that chick above (kee) ever does is cut and paste info!!

The new 360 is still a work in process. It should have the features that you are asking, trust it’ll be better than what we have now. I’m thinking by the beginning of next year it should be completed. =)

The Universal Profile System (in a beta version) started today (10/16/08). Although, the transitioning of Yahoo!360 to that UPS hasn’t begun yet. Some information from 360 is included in the UPS though. See http://blog.360.yahoo.com/blog-1qCkw2Ehaak.hdNZkEAzDrpa4Q–?cq=1&p=64469 for more details. Make sure to go to the Yahoo blog site mentioned there for more information as well. The 360 team blog is also accessible via the "Yahoo! 360 News" link in the upper right corner of your 360 space.

I have started my profile and so far it seems that the Yahoo! Avatar is a static picture (i.e. not animated). Again, this a "beta" phase of the program, so features are still being tested. You can post a comment about it on the Profiles Blog (http://www.yprofileblog.com/ ), the Yahoo! 360 blog, or send in a Help form here: http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/profiles/general.html .
