Yes, Japan’s in Asia. But Japanese and Asian still aren’t the same thing.
Japanese people are also Asian, but all Asians aren’t Japanese. And the Japanese consider themselves Japanese first, Asian a distant second.
And, like I said earlier, there are many countries in Asia. You can’t call Indians or Vietnamese people Japanese. They’re simply not the same thing. The term Asian and Japanese are NOT interchangeable.

Hon, Asia is a continent. There are multiple countries on that continent. Japan is an island nation that is part of said continent. They are NOT the same.
