why does my avatar change to the blue devil everytime I open a new spades table?

I set it to a certain avatar face and it used to stay that way. In the last week, everytime I open a new spades table, my avatar changes to the blue devil face. What can I do?

I don’t know how to make it permant but if you click on the devil face it shall change. then keep clicking till you get the right avatar
