South Park Let’s Play Tower Defence Xbox Live Arcade game for the Xbox 360 recently received a System Update. As part of that update there are two new Avatar Awards for your Xbox 360 Avatar.

WHAT ARE THE AVATAR AWARDS AND WHAT ARE THEIR REQUIREMENTS?

One is Kenny’s Hoodie outfit that you get for completing the game and the other is Cartman’s hat which you get for completing the first level.

WHAT IF YOU HAVE ALREADY BEATEN THE GAME?

Go to the “Scrapbook” section in the game and the two Avatar Awards will automatically unlock.

WHAT IF YOU WANT THE AVATAR AWARDS NOW WITHOUT BEATING THE GAME?

Start the first level and from the Menu click on the “Skip Ahead Options” and go to the next level. Keep doing this for each level until you get past the last level. The Avatar Awards will automatically unlock.

HOW DO YOU PUT ON THE AVATAR AWARDS?

From the “Customize Avatar” section go to “Awards” and then click on the one for “South Park”.

XNA Avatar Crowd Simulator

Crowd Simulator built using XNA 3.1, running on the Xbox 360 console. The application uses the Xbox avatars to represent agents in the scene. Agents uses a FSM to control their movements, collision avoidance to avoid scene obstacles and uses the A* search algorithm for pathfinding. The avatars are using custom animations for movement. The scene is rendered using a custom LOD (level of detail) system.

HOW TO GET A XBOX 360 AVATAR MASK:

1. Go to http://www.thq.com/uk

2. Click on “Sign In” if you have an existing account or click on “New Account” to create a MyTHQ account. If you are creating a NEW account, you will have to “verify your account” by clicking on the “Activation Email” that they send to you.

3. Click on “My games” and then click on “Register a game.”

4. Selct “Xbox 360″ as the platform and scroll down and click on “Metro 2033″.

5. Press SUBMIT. You do NOT need a registration code.

6. You’ll see the code under “My Game Code” next to Metro 2033 in the list of registered games.

7. Redeem the Avatar code through the “Redeem A Code” section on the Xbox 360 dashboard.

* The Avatar Mask file is less than 200 Kb (kilobytes) in size.

** You can find the Mask in the “Dress Up” section of the Avatar editor. This is the where all the suits and complete outfits are located.

This is the worlds first Xbox360 Avatar Karate Game!

Get up on the roof, into the dojo or out to the playground and test your karate skills. Using your own Xbox Avatar you have to battle against up to three other players on your console or around the world using Xbox LIVE. Train your skills using 10 different opponents controlled by an artificial intelligence. Get a feeling for the different moves like punch, kick, block, jump and more. Combine these moves and become even better.
Still not fast or strong enough? Use appearing powerups to boost your abilities or restore your fitness to continue the fight even longer.

Having a 3D game is not enough? Using Stereo 3D technologies and supported glasses players can enjoy the game in a 3D view.

No avatars where harmed during the making of this game:
The game tries to follow the Xbox LIVE Indie Games guidelines for the avatar usage. There
is only cartoon violence (showing stars when an avatar is hit) and after an avatars was knocked out
(the avatar is fainting and falls to the ground) the avatar reappears very quickly back in the stage.
